Intro

HOME ON THE WASTES is the ship between Imani Noelle Davis (Courier 6) and Ulysses. This ship develops in the background of the Lonesome Road DLC, and mostly develops afterward and after the Second Battle of Hoover Dam.

Their relationship is very complex and has a push-pull dynamic to start, especially considering the plot of Lonesome Road. They have a shared history, one Imani has all but forgotten after her run-in with Benny. Ulysses, however, has not forgotten and has made it a point to make sure that he gets her attention. Things get tense, but there's a deep, mutual understanding that comes after the revelation that the world can still change.

All they need is time.

General Vibes

WILL GRAHAM: I wanted to understand you before I laid eyes on you again. I needed it to be clear... what I was seeing. | DR. HANNIBAL LECTER: Where does the difference between the past and the future come from? | WILL GRAHAM: Mine? Before you and after you. Yours? It's all starting to blur.

[Speech 55] If we share history, then before going forward, I want to know the past.

Newsflash, asshole! I've been in love with you the entire goddamn time!

I feel like a part of my soul has loved you since the beginning of everything. Maybe we're from the same star. —Emery Allen, Become

Other

I've written a very... very long fic detailing the events of Lonesome Road, as part of a perpetually WIP series detailing Imani's story. There may be more entries in the future, but for now, this is their origin story:
